Has anyone had trouble with their compression rods yet?
Im hearing that clicking from my rear axle when ever i go over a bump or go in reverse.
Im at 65k but my powertrain ran out in April.

 

ive think we have all that problem before i went to lokey and they fixed that promblem for me real quick i think hey just grease the bearings!

 

It's not gonna matter anyway for your situation but powertrain warranty is not gonna cover compression rod repairs; only the basic warranty does (4 yrs / 60K miles). The rear axle clicking issue is common on all G's. There is a TSB out there to resolve the issue, and I found from a quick search that a member has successfully solved the problem with his DIY method.
