use blue painters tape... i think... ive seen it done anyway, if it doesnt rain on saturday then ill be putting tape on my front bumper to prevent further rock and chip damage

I was talking about my new bumper that is getting painted this week. Unfortunately, it takes 2-3 weeks on the safe side to cure, and I've been advised to not install it on my car until then. And certainly not painters tape it either booo

2 to 3 weeks to cure ? thats insane ! who the heck is painting your bumper ??? it should only take a few days to be done !

Im going to wash my car Friday before I tape it. Do u have a garage/ car port or know a shady place

It will be dry but it will still be fresh/soft and I don't want to take any chances. Supposed to wait 2-3 weeks before waxing, etc.
