Well, after getting laid-off from my job in St Pete in February, I decided to move back to North Carolina. I just didn't have a lot of connections in Florida so landing a good paying job for me was going to be tuff down there. I had 2 job offers from people I knew in NC. I took one and now am doing good. I guess it really is true that its not what you know, but who you know that matters.

It was nice to meet some of you guys and go to a few meets. I'll try to see if I can get the G scene more active up here in NC.

Good luck! I used to live in NC. I left my job with the popo to move here with my hub. I miss my friends and the old car club people I used to hang out with there. But I made alot of good friends here too. Doesn't really matter what you drive - you will always run into other "gearheads".
