Wow, I had a great time on Sat! I didn't expect to go so fast, but I really got to feel the near-limits of my car! I realized the 5/16th spacer and K&N drop-in are a great kick in the pants. I'll post a photo link up soon with the ones I took... I was having way too much fun to take pics!

Oh, and I almost gave Dan and Veronica a new bumper shape! Sorry!

All I could see was the back of Chad's car like a pinpoint in the distance. That's why, once we got to the 4th checkpoint, I cut the line and got in between Dan and Chad lol.
That guy had no brake lights! He was dangerous to drive behind!

Haha yeah I felt bad for jacking the brakes in front of you, but Dan and I were the only ones paying attention to the route - and that side street sign was tiny! We almost blew past it like we blew past all the other ones heh.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. No brake lights, and the reverse lights were always on, except they would flash off when he would shift, and then they'd come back on again. Sigh.

No worries... Had my brakes checked out yesterday and I still have 50% of my pads left :-) I guess the squeaking I heard was from them being so hot.

I still didn't understand wth that guy was doing standing on top of his car...

Did anyone hear the lady yell "SLOW DOWN!" at some point? The spunky older guy waving at us after getting his mail was cool too.

The guy standing on his car - I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure his windshield was cracked pretty good. He must have hit something.

I didn't hear the lady.

The old man was so adorable. I waved back at him

Last run in February (same course), I had the same problem with my brakes being overheated. This time around, I stayed in 3rd and 4th gear the whole time to engine brake (and better acceleration). Saved my brakes a lot.

Dave, did you ever get all of them up?

Sorry for bumping an old thread. Here's some more that I found on the 350zCOF site:

Haha! Wal Mart sells like every color of duct tape you can think of. I used two rolls of the pink, over one layer of blue painters tape lol
