NEW! FGC T-Shirts, Member Stickers, and Membership Options!
The Florida G Club (FGC) Board of Directors (BOD) have been working for quite a while to create new FGC logos and t-shirt images. We are happy to say that one of the premier graphic artists on the G35driver web forums has designed the logo and t-shirt images for us. Kenny Yeo, better known as "nameless" on the Driver forums, did a great job for us. I think everyone will be happy with his work.
We will use the new FGC logo on our website, for new member stickers, and on the front of our new FGC t-shirts. Here is the new logo as it will appear on a tinted side window:
As you can see, the image is of a generic Infiniti G... It's not really a G35 or a G37... We thought it was unique and cool to have a logo with the back of the car showing... hope you all like the design.
The back of the t-shirt will have a design unique to the Florida G Club. This is an artist's concept design of the new t-shirts. I'll add a picture of someone actually wearing one of the new t-shirts once I have one.
In addition to our new stickers and t-shirts, we have updated the FGC web site to make it easier than ever to join the FGC. All the membership options are stated more clearly and each package is identified specifically with exactly what you will get. There is also a one-click button to pay directly with PayPal. In the past there was always confusion over the G35driver Premier offer and the Florida G Club Premier membership. We have resolved that problem by adding a free year of G35driver.com Premier membership to our initial FGC membership package. From now on every new, first-time FGC member will get a one year subscription to G35driver's Premier web site package when they join the Florida G Club.
Additionally, there were always questions about t-shirts and stickers. From now on, all new members will receive a new FGC t-shirt and two new FGC member stickers for their car. The only way to get membership stickers is to become a member of the FGC.
While membership prices have gone up slightly, we believe the increased value makes the new price a much better option. The additional $15 membership increase adds a new t-shirt ($15 member, or $30 non-member), member stickers ($10 for 2), and a G35driver Premier Subscription ($10 for 1 year). The increased price gives you an additional $35 (at a minimum) in options for only a $15 increase.
For current members that want to buy the new t-shirts and member stickers, they will be able to purchase them separately. We are currently working on a new web page for that. Prices for the t-shirts will be $15 to FGC members, $30 to non members, and the stickers will be $10 for 2 stickers (available to members only).
If you join the club or purchase a t-shirt and are going to the Gainesville meet this Saturday, you can pick your shirt up at the meet. I'm not sure all the stickers will be done in time, we're running behind on them.
This is a pretty big change for a small club like the FGC. I'm sure there will be things that we haven't thought about yet... Let us know and we'll try to fix them... I will also be updating and combining the sticky notes at the top of the forums as soon as possible.

this first batch of shirts will not contain sponsors. however, in addition to shirts/stickers/dues we are also reviewing our sponsors. once we get those updated, we will look to include them on the next round of shirts.

First, the good news... We will have new FGC stickers at the Gainesville Meet tomorrow!
It's a long story, but basically the vendor we use for our club stickers went on vacation and forwarded their phone to a Fax machine that didn't work. Finally got in touch with them this morning and they are printing 100 stickers today... Veronica will pick them up tonight and bring them to the Gainesville Meet tomorrow!

We've added an additional option for new members that joined the FGC within the last year. If you would like to pay the additional $15 membership fee, we will give you the same merchandise that comes with our current $55 membership package. You'll get a t-shirt, stickers, and the Driver Premier Subscription (if you have not already had one).
