fun with old tires vids and new s.drives

well got about 14k miles out of my rear invos so it was time to change them out. i really liked them but thought id try out some yokohama s.drives. of course i had to have some fun with the old tires first. didnt have anyone to hold the camera so you can tell i was a bit rushed in the vids. already saw a cops hiding behind target so i was a little nervous heh.

wee figure 8

launch at 2000 rpm - bit too much spin

launch at 1500 rpm

old driver rear

old passenger rear

s.drive thread

jason dont you have some 1000cc bikes to lose to or something?

well that was the plan danny but without anyone to hold the camera, i didnt have much choice. plus i had an 1130 appt for the tires so i was kind of in a rush. next time?

^those are for homos. but really im running 0 toe all around with -1 front and 1.5 camber rear. usually i run -1 camber on my cars so thats good enough for me. like i said, i got 14k out of the invos. the most i got out of my t1-r's on the 35 was 16k so thats ballpark. we'll see how the yokos do.

Wow Lyndon, only 14K miles on the Invos? I have 18K miles on my Exclaim UHP tires, and there's about 60% tread left on them. I expect another 10K miles before they need to be replaced.

Good luck on the Yokohamas. I like the tread pattern on them.
