Up-Rev Tuned: 2008 G37 6mt. (probably one of the first)

Hey guys,

I went to S&R Performance today to finally get my tune. The guys there were pretty cool and let me wander all over the place. I also think the tuner knew exactly what he was doing. We did like 4 runs total. The first one was 275whp, 308whp, 311whp, and then it went back to 302whp. I have 4 different maps, each having a different rev limit.

Map 1: full rev band (up to redline)
Map 2: max revs lowered to 3500
Map 3: 4000rpm
map 4: 4500rpm

For launch control: I go to whichever map i want to launch at, then specify after launching to revert back to map1, and it goes. i gotta try it out to see how it works.

Heres some pics
about to go on the dyno

too low, haha

strapped down

first run of 275, i didnt get a jpeg copy on my jump drive but i have a pic from my blackberry

the jpeg's that were copied to my jumpdrive of the runs:

308whp

311whp

A couple vids.

Overall i'm pretty satisfied with the gains. Now i'm not positive that i made a (275 > 311) gain because the 275 run ended at 6k rpm.

My blackberry did all the pictures/videos, so uh.. the quality isn't that good. Anyone know how the "Dynomite" dyno compares to something like a dynojet?

Nice numbers with the 20's on there. I forget, do you have exhaust or just HFC and intake?

very nice, HFC and a CAI are the only performance mods you have?

def you could have made more on the first run, seem like you would have been in the low 300s

Congrats man. Awesome numbers. Those 37HR's are bada$$.

I'm kinda jealous. 07 g sedan is 35hr, 07 z is 35hr, but 07 coupe is 35de.

btw mike, from the limited stuff ive seen - dynomite dynos are usually pretty close to dynojet numbers if that helps.

I dyno'd stock @ 285 on that same dyno. I will be adding this mod eventually. May wait to do my cats first though.

That's pretty cool... That's the first G37 that I've seen tuned with Osiris...

Who actually tuned it, Bryan?
