First of all hope everyone had a great and safe thanksgiving..well just picked up a iphone and need some suggestions on whats the easy way to get the ipod working in the car (2006 coupe w/navi/sat) theres a lot of old threads in DIY but just wanted to know with anybody know about something new thats out there..

 

You need to buy a PAC-NIS. One end plugs into your satelite hookup behind the headunit. The other end has 2 RCA hookups. Buy a RCA cable for your Ipod/Iphone. It has been the most enjoyable mod on my car.

 

and for those of us who are not blessed with a SAT button? is there a PAC NIS for us?

 

I BELIEVE so... I did some research on it since my ex had a Z without sat radio. I know my unit and some others have a little switch on the side of the box that can be switched to "SAT/NON SAT".

 

Cars without a SAT button have a RADIO button that cycles through AM, FM, SAT1 and SAT2.

my car has aux 1 and 2 which works with the ipod hook up that was in the car when i bought it.. works fine just wish it would come in louder.

 

Hmmmm I wonder if they have a PAC for a 2007 wrx
