My Local Infiniti Dealership Experience
My Local Infiniti Dealership Experience
My recent experience at my local Infiniti dealer went a little something like this…. On Thursday after work I stopped by to talk with a salesman, who said he was too busy to talk to me that afternoon, so we made an appt for Sunday. That should have been my first clue that this would be a waste of time! Who is too busy to talk to a customer?? The salesman’s task for Sunday was to appraise my car to find out if leasing a new 2010 G would save me some $$. Today when I arrived, the salesman acted like he didn’t know me. (2nd clue) There was no meet and greet and right away he gave me a look of “what do you want??”. So, I walked over to his desk, determined to get an appraisal and started giving him the basic information about the car…then without asking he proceeded to call up Infiniti Financial and ask them for my payoff amount. He didn’t even bother to ask where I purchased the car, who I purchased my loan through and who has their name on the title, etc. While he was talking to the financial rep. he asked me for my SS number but little did he know the car was in my wife’s name. After I told him this piece of information, he hung up on the financial rep and then proceeded to get my car appraised by his manager. He came back within 10 minutes and asked me if I got the car at this dealership. I told him “Nope! “ so he turned around, walked away shaking his head and left me outside. So, I went inside and asked him what the problem was and what is the appraisal amount for my car? and he said he couldn’t tell me that until he knew EXACTLY what my payoff amount was. (SCAMMER!) I left the dealership unsatisfied. He didn’t even offer to show me any of the ’10 inventory or to test drive the car. So, I’ll be going over to the other side of the bridge and taking my business elsewhere. Sorry to bore you guys with this but just wanted to share my experience, thanks for reading! Any replies welcome.
Many of us in the Central Florida area use Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater for both sales and service. They are a long time sponsor of the Florida G Club, and their sales and service staff (at least the ones I have dealt with) are extremely helpful and do not act like you are wasting their time.
Orlando Infiniti
Agreed. Go to veronica long time friend of ours. She'll definatly take care of you. Orlando Infiniti FTW!

With today economy how can any dealership treat their customers like that? They should be kissing your azz the minute you walk thru the door. Reminds me when my wife walked into our Chevrolet dealership and layed down cash for our Vette, this low life salesman asked her, "Where'd you get the money?" I got in his face and said, "Who the f^ck are you?" Salesmen and dealerships....

Sorry to hear about your experience there. That is not how buying an infiniti should be. If you feel like making the drive up to orlando we will certainly take care of you. I am a sales consultant but am still in training, so if you can wait a few weeks I would be more than happy to take care of you!
Veronica
That sucks to hear that Ryan. I bought mine there but my sales rep is gone. Was it a tall older gent named Jim? I'm done with infin in general. Doesn't matter if it's lokey or Tampa. For me service is getting to be a f'in ripoff. How can anyone charge 53$ for an oil change?(sorry had to throw that in there) Best customer service by far has been at Ferman BMW. Too bad they don't sell g's.
I have talked to the people at Orlando infin and it seems like a different atmosphere down there. Just make an Appt w Veronica when she gets her button. If they weren't an hour away I'd give them all my service business.
