ok i just saw a commercial on TV about a new synthetic oil from pennzoil i jus flipped the channel and played Bad company 2 lol, but it got me thinking hmmm does that stuff really work? then I looked it up and it says the oil is designed to cleanse your engine of deposits more efficiently then the current pennzoil platinum and restore the internals to factory new internals basically saying your engine will run like a brand new engine. So has anybody heard about it and tried it? i wanna put it in my mom's Pathfinder since im the only one taking care of it.

 

I would wait for some UOA's to come out and what the peeps at bobistheoilguy.com have to say, Its prob loaded with detergents.

I dont know if more detergents can be bad for ur engine...
I just changed from mobil1 5w-30 to German castrol syntec, 0w-30, been a week, I feel that car feels smoother, but it's probably just me tellin myself, costs more so must be better lol

Btw, i bought this stuff myself.. this was even before i read the article.. I just bought an 04 G35 coupe recently from a local dealership and did not trust the oil change they had done to it, so i went to a local walmart and found this stuff... for whatever reason, this stuff stole my attention away from grabbing a jug of mobil 1 syn, and i did an oil change..

So far so good, the engine feels smooth..
then again, it was my first oil change with this vehicle and i didnt spend much time on whatever junk the dealership put in there, so i wouldnt really know...
