So i just noticed this damage to my rim.... i got my new tires put on 2 weeks ago, and just got around to washing my car. I took it to two other tire shops... The first shop, i asked if the equipment used could cause this damage, 3 guys all agreed "hell yeah, id be pissed!"

the other shop i went to, i asked what could cause that kind of damage, they said it looks like the equipment slipped (per the scuff on the lip, followed by the scratches then the gash right underneath)

needless to say, ill be going back to the shop on monday to see what can be done. Im a little pissed off, but nothing can be done by getting mad..

Give us a big pic of the whole rim to see how noticeable it is when it's not focused on.

=[ Sorry to hear that. When I got my tires put on they messed up one of my wheels but it's just the OEM ones, SO I don't care haha. I'd cry if it was a $400 rim though.. =[ Maybe you can buff it and paint it hahahah

anything can be fixed or made less noticeable. nothings going to be perfect forever. id relax and give it time before buying a whole new wheel.

Are you sure it was from the tire shop?

I did not mean it can not be fixed. I meant good luck getting anything from the tire shop.

I don’t do this very often, but I felt compelled after I remembered a couple days ago was Good Friday, a time for some real introspective thought. The most solemn time of this holiest of weeks is Good Friday – the celebration of Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death. We share a lot of smart *** comments and Google images with each other, but we rarely share our real feelings or thoughts. Then there is today, when we wake up on Easter morning. Those of you with children will watch in delight as your wide-eyed little ones scurry from their bedrooms to see what the Easter Bunny has left for them. But what is Easter really about? How quickly we forget. Easter is the day Jesus was to be resurrected from the dead. On this day, the almighty one would rise up and roll the stone away from the opening of the tomb he had lay lifeless in for the past three days. Once he emerged from the tomb, if he saw his shadow it would mean another 10,000 years of war and disease ridden poverty, homosexuality, drug use, marital infidelity, pedophilia, bestiality, **** intercourse (which, technically is covered previously with homosexuality, but not all **** intercourse is of the homosexual nature. Some heterosexuals, NOT ALL will engage in **** intercourse as well. I remember this one girl I dated for awhile got really drunk one night and requested **** intercourse. During the act, she said “this feels so weird; you should try it some time…” Talk about awkward. Anyway, afterwards we were talking and she said “now I know why gay guys party so much.” “Why?” I replied. “Because you’d have to be drunk to do that!”) There was a bunch of other stuff that would happen too. Suffice it to say, it was a beautifully sunny morning and the world has sucked ever since. I’m getting a little off subject here. The point is I think too often we get wrapped up in this materialistic world and sometimes forget what our holidays are really about. A wise man said something to me once and I’ll never forget this. It was “always…no, wait…Never…****, I forgot.

Happy Easter!!
