I'm not going to be able to make it. Girlfriend's parents are coming in town this weekend.

Woulda been fun cruising with the GT-Rs... Guess there's always next time.

nope, can't just get a new tv....had to get new receiver, new console, new cables, new speakers, new blu-ray player, etc. Have to wallmount the new one, run the cables and setup the new system.....it's gonna take all weekend.

My A/V setup is the reason why 1 wall in my living room has remained unpainted in the past 2+ years. I do not want to touch that wiring and surround sound at all. It was a PITA the first time round.

Just one piece of advice.... Please don't hang that new tv using one of those monoprice.com wall mounts. Yes they are cheap and the reviews are good, but I was extremely disappointed when I got mine a couple weeks ago.

A buddy of mine who does this for a living laughed at my mount when we installed it. He did mention it would do the job, but the brackets and hardware were much cheaper quality than the Sanus mounts that he uses.

Monoprice is great for getting nice HDMI cables for cheap but please dont use their mount.
