looks like they are booked pretty far in advanced, so someone would prob have to get there when gates open to hold on.. tried calling both parks to see about parking but no answer.

 

its not too bad of a drive from the freeway.. and if you dont get a shelter there its got tons of open spots to park for pics and such, and skyway is nearby for the same.

 

well we need a shelter cause were all goiing to bbq and stuf i think desoto is a little to far .. lol

 

ya, sand key is booked up for the 22nd and desoto only has one left

 

we need to find something closer to either causeway or howard franklin IMO .. desoto is like another 30+ min once you go over one of the bridges you posted to get over there ... unless everyone id down for a drive there and once its over we all can have a nice cruise heading back to the bridges ..

 

yea i bet those places get slammed cause the parks are like surrounded by water .... i think we need a less packed place .. what about philipe park ???

Phillipe park is nice but so is Ft Desoto. Who cares about the drive. There are peeps coming from Orlando so whats another 20 minutes.

 

there are almsot booked up at desoto chard ... they have i think 2 left we can hold and 1 first come .... yea i would love to go there as well trust me !!!!

yea but desoto is really nice as well and thats were quite a few people want to go ... can someone call this place up and make sure there are no speed bumps ???

 

From what I seen on google earth for sand key theres no paying for parking. So before I make this new thread can we decide on somewhere. For us guys coming from orlando i highly doubt going the extra distance to desoto would really matter but we need to find somewhere thats suspension friendly.
