The search is over... I've found my 11mm wrench!

Long story, short...

I redid my rotors pads and lines back in September. A few days later I noticed I was missing a wrench out of my toolbox but didn't think anything of it. Meanwhile over the last 4 months I've noticed my brakes didn't really feel like an aftermarket setup... the pedal was still a bit mushy and the performance was meh.

So I'm under my car fixing the stupid plastic under-piece that fell after a few rough speedbumps... and I notice the paint is all flakey on the inside facing of the caliper. That's when I found my wrench which was still attached to the bleeder screw. For all this time brake fluid has been slowly leaking and causing the mushy pedal symptom. Would also explain the clunking and squeaking I've been noticing coming from the front end. Oh well... here's an image for you all:

we had a guy at my work leave a hammer inside a spring perch once during a service. 3500 miles later when they returned for the next service, he found it

they never said anything. it was resting in the hole of the perch and the handle went down the middle of the spring so it wasnt really banging around. he told the rest of the shop but nothing was said to the customer in fear of losing business
