Some time ago I removed the PCV system hose (the one that attaches to the drivers side of the air intake tube). Just wondering if anyone else has done this too... I was doing some reading and it appears that air is sucked into the crankcase via this tube at idle and at higher engine speeds gas vapor and air is pushed back through this tube into the intake.

Anyone have thoughts on this?
