Not painting tonight. Im going to seperate and sand down tonight. Ill do a layer or two of primer and in the morning ill see where the imperfections are and sand again and redo it then paint during the day. Just get the ball rolling now.

Captains Log 12:34AM, The headlight proved to be a tricky bastard with its very sealed ways, Despite baking it in the oven 3 times.....still proved vigilant.....Put the little bastard in the over for another 7 minutes and it cracked open like a book. 1 done 1 to go....

Opening part is not what I am worried about, it's sealing them up properly so moisture doesn't get in that has me paranoid.

Whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH OR GET DIRT ON THE INSIDE OF THE LENSE.

 

Second one opened alot easier because i let it bake a little longer. I think thats what had me this whole time but whatever. Thanks Harvey. Already sanded one down. But I but the sealant at the store so hopefully itll be tight but if not ill just order the OEM one from my nismo
