A week ago I brought to my marketing directors attention that I would need a faster computer to handle the workload that has been given too me, I recommend a Mac Book Pro "quad-Core version" which works out too about 2 grand. Well today my marketing director asked me to open a package that was sitting next to my desk and told me It was my new computer.... I truly believed it was going to be a Crappy Dell since that is what everyone else in the building is using.... I WAS F'ing blown away when I saw it was a NEW 2011 MAC PRO! here are the specs!

Yes! it's a 12core BEAST! 16GB upgradeable to 64GB!! 3, 2TB HDD and a 27inch LCD screen. When I return to work on Wednesday Ill take a photo of my set up! I have a 4 day vacation.

 

Impressive!










........pity to waste all that processing power on a Mac though

 

Im running parallels so i can access 3DS Max when I need to texture some elements before I import to After effects.

Imagine what we could do with it on a PC!
