J/K, that's a nice flash but it's no 580EX

 

lmao shut your face! It works great for me :-P From what ive read the 580's flash is alot more harsh in pictures, the 430 is a great balance.

Nice Mikey. Was only going off what I read online. But the pics look great. Ill be using it to do a club party this weekend. Nifty 50 or 18-55mm?

 

depends on what your going for. If you like bokeh, then the 50. But i generally use my 17-50 at parties i go to. With your flash, you should be fine. Just remember to either buy a light modifier or use the white card the you can pull out of the flash.

 

It looks a little weird compared to the teeny white card in your flash, but it will generally give you a less harsh flash output:
