June 2011 Discussion Thread!
"Today in G35Driver news.....Florida G Club "FGC" has been banished by the mod gods to the far reaches of the interwebz due to being post ******, having fun, thanking that which should be thanked, and in general being the most awesome place on the East coast..... In other news....FlorCal (Formerly known as NorCal) has pissed off the mod gods on the west coast and must now report for weekly cavity checks performed by Mikey, Nate, and Mitch....."

Don't get me wrong Chris, I got nothing against you dude, and I appreciate that you have our backs in the PM. It just wouldn't hurt to say something to let us all know you got our backs.
Could have been something as simple as saying "hey guys, I don't agree with everything that's went on, but I'm looking into it"

No hard feelings Marcus :-) We still love you and your car, just thought it wouldve been better if you notified us before you deleted the threads so atleast it wasnt a shock to us...... All is well and resolved and let us be merry. FGC is still apart of Driver and errybody is happy :-)
Members of the FCG, I want you to know that I absolutely love g35driver and I became a member of the staff last year to help keep help maintain our forum as the best g35 enthusiast site out there. People who know me know that I am a very honest, humble, and fair guy.
Things were brought to my attention yesterday that were occurring in this subforum that needed to be addressed. The Thanks system was being abused and I scrambled to figure out how we would handle this given that it was a brand new feature. To be honest that put a spotlight on this sub-forum and this thread in particular. It was then brought to my attention that your monthly discussion threads were not being deleted like we do in other subforums. For consistency sake I deleted the threads and informed everyone of that here.
This made most folks in here very upset and like I said last night, I'm sorry for that. I am not trying to tell you guys how to run your club it was an issue related to consistently throughout the entire forum.
With all of that said, the Staff has decided to give more leeway to the club forums vs. the regional forums. You can keep your old discussion forums, I will restore them just as soon as I hit "post quick reply".
Carry own with your discussions knowing that your posts will no longer be deleted each month.

I had hoped you didn't intend any malice when you deleted the old threads, but honestly that's exactly what it looked like
I'm also glad the staff is willing to give the clubs more leeway to self-govern. I'll do my best to support that arrangement.
