just ordered one of these online.

LaCie Porsche Design P9000 Hard Drives
500GB up to 2TB supports thunderbolt, usb 3.0, firewire 800 & 1600
the 2tb only cost me $153.00 the case is made out of titanium

Nice... a bit of a luxury in my opinion... good thing titanium dissipates heat pretty well. Although aluminum would be much better at that. I think brushed aluminum would get a similar look with better functionality, no?

Titanium's thermal conductivity is 17 W/m-K versus 210 W/m-K on aluminum.
