just wanted to share my morning
well, I was going 70 and noticed that my car was kinda swerving left and right. Wasn't sure what was causing it, assumed it was wind, but it put me on edge. About 30 seconds later I started smelling the rubber and that's when I knew. The lanes were empty on my right so I got into the right most lane and slowed down. Then I heard the "whump whump whump" noises and saw bits of rubber flying out from behind me so I popped on the emergency lights and slowed the **** down. The large truck behind me slowed down too with his emergencies to help shield me i suppose. finally got across the bridge and pulled over. Was taking out my road repair kit when a cal-trans tow truck came up and helped me changed the tire to my spare. I thanked him and now I'm at work.
Dang , tire looks beat! Lucky you made it off the road safely without doing any major damage. Eric, my undertray would always flop down at the worst time. Last time it happened was in front of a crowd of about 60 people going to rays game. I ordered the aluminum one before I parked!
