ALL FLORIDA MEET THREAD (Your input is needed)
Hey forte, where do you live? Your tag says INDY.
If you decide to make the drive, you might consider clicking on the link in my sig (or reading through the sticky thread above) and joining the FLORIDA G35 CLUB. To take advantage of all of the exciting activities at the Lokey meet you should consider joining the club.
FYI, the club is not restricted to G owners, nor is it restricted to people who live in Florida. We welcome all G35 enthusiasts and appreciate all the support we get.

I live in Tampa, and work in Clearwater. So, I've never driven directly from Clearwater to Orlando. However, my guess is that depending on your speed it would be about 1hr45min.
We made it in just about 1 hour and 15 minutes last time, but traffic was light and we might have been... well... speed limit... no... ummm...
Anyway, my best guess would be 90 minutes.
Who's going to be post #200?

Don't worry, at some point this year the right thing to do will be for each and every club member to participate in an organized "promotion". We'll pick a needy cause (something like the battered women's shelter) and all go out and raise money from our friends, neighbors and families. Then we'll donate the money in the clubs name and in the name of ALL OF OUR SPONSORS!!!
Again, I have BIG PLANS for this club and BIG PLANS unfortunately cost money, which is why I'm selling raffle tickets for this first event!
Thanks for the great suggestion and keep 'em coming!

We still need to be established as a business (c-corporation, limited liability corp, or something along those lines), we need to get liability insurance, we need to get a business license and tax I.D. #, we need to open a business banking/checking account, etc... I figure with some "creative accounting" and the help of a lawyer we might skate out with a $1000 -$2000 bill for all of these things. The club account hasn't even hit $700 mark yet and we still need to buy T-Shirts which will take us down quite a bit!

I'm going to bump this old thread so the newer club members (and potential club members) can see how this club evolved into what it is today.
We still are going through some growing pains, having our first FGC-VPP person iron out the kinks in the system, etc... but we'll have it all nailed down pretty soon.
As of 1-26-2005 the FGC has 59 members!!!
