***FGC*** Bored Post Funny, Weird, Cool Pic/Vid
WHY would I pay for the FGC it's a waste I come out to meets to show support we don't do anything but drink beer at all the places YOU CHOOSE! I paid IAN and that is final speak with him if you want. I paid and I never received any of the goodies that were promised so chalk that up to the club. The FGC is no longer a organization its just a group of people with cars who like to hangout now. its not what it use to be so LIG it "LET IT GO"
IIRC i asked at the last meet where would everyone like to meet next/ have a get together for go carting or something fun .. DID I NOT ????!!!!
if you really think your a FGC member i will look into it for you and help you get everything that you were promised... thats not a problem... there is no need to NOW bash on the fgc lenox ....

Gents, it's not my nature to intervene into a Club forum but I would recommend that both of you chill out a little. It's not my intention to step on anyone's toes here whatsoever, but I think both parties here are a little out of line.

I had simply suggested that the posts be moved to a more appropriate thread so that myself and others could continue enjoying the discussion thread for what it is, a discussion thread.
I sometimes browse the thread from work, and often from my phone. While the other people in my company don't have a problem with me/others browsing sites like 'Driver, facebook, ebay, etc... if a bunch of half-naked people randomly pop up on the screen that IS going to turn heads and potentially get me in trouble.
That's why I make sure I don't browse any threads that may be NSFW (and are plainly tagged NSFW) while at work... posting NSFW content in the discussion thread effectively boots me out of the thread (and there are others with similar restrictions)
I more often browse the forum from my phone, but if my signal is so-so, a thread with lots of pics (especially really large animated gifs) the page simply takes too transfer all that data over a cell signal. For that matter, the most recent animated gif storm even slowed down the DSL at my house!
Lenox, it's not that you're not allowed to post pics, etc... it's just a question of being courteous to other people who would like to enjoy the site. Yes, Chris is over-moderating by threatening to have you banned, but you also need to realize, you and Mikey were both involved/affected, and yet you are the only one who's arguing about the whole situation.
I think everyone needs to just take a couple steps back and cool down.
Just gauging off his reaction, I'd say he probably doesn't.
And even if he did, your post didn't really sound like you were kidding.
Got to remember too, just because somebody doesn't have the power to ban directly, local mods/club mods do have more pull with those who ARE in a position to issue bans.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you down... I'm just offering viewpoint from a third party.
God KNOWS I've posted stuff before that I had intended as a joke, but then somebody took me serious and got offended. Crap happens.

He had originally made a thread with the same title, that had all the big animated gifs from the FGC useless thread moved to it (so there were tons of pics in the thread)
but somehow it got split into two threads
There was this one with no pics (and me and Ricky ragging Chris about whatever he did that made it get split wrong)
And the other thread with the same title, and all the pics in it...
well, because of the way the posts were moved around, one of Lenox' posts was the first post on the pic thread, and since the owner of the first post can delete that post and the whole thread goes down with it.... he did, and now it's gone, and all that remains is a "pic thread" with no pics
Yeah, it's a lot of back-and-forth, but at least now you know why.
