Ok let's see it all together.

As for our terrorist issues. More average everyday joe Americans need to carry. If they did then we would have less violence because people wouldn't feel empowered by guns. If you know running into a bank trying to rob it may get you shot by ten of the customers you will probably go to a different bank.

Or move to Japan. They are cunning in business but truly polite and courteous to the fellow man.

I mean to each their own, but it's shown in those small gas stations in the hood that don't get robbed because everyone knows the owner keeps a 12 gauge pointed under the counter. Same reason no one ever tries to storm bases or police stations. Predators always go for the easy prey. Less prey less predators.
All in all it's hearsay because I am honest enough to know that I am not going on a mission to save society anymore than the next person. I will be strapped up pretty soon though. And I personally feel a lot of the random crazies taking out 10, 2- or 30 people could have easily be silenced after the first shot or two. May not mean much to the average law makers, but to the family members of the 15 or 20 that could have been saved..........

The problem is not guns but how complicated it is for honest people to get them. Criminals don't give a **** about your signs saying no guns or the laws saying they have felonies and can't posses. Why because they are criminals and aren't out for anyone but themselves. We as a people should change the way we treat our criminals. Go back to hard labor and ten guys to a cell. Work them until they are too damn tired to fight or care about anything but sleep. Maybe I am an extremest, but I think a lot of our taxes are poorly spent on prisons and the companies that build them.

Great idea in theory, but the execution part is what we can't predict. It could make things better like you said, but what happens when everyone starts taking the law in their own hands etc... I completely agree that if ONE person in that theater was carrying, it could have gone a whole lot differently.

Oh and happy Saturday. No rest for the weary. I have a feeling that when I get home from work this afternoon, I will get in bed and sleep until tomorrow. =\

Don't know about you but I carry in the movie theaters.

Sad this happened.

There is no solution to the problem, there will always be fvcked up people that want to do harm to others.
