Having a dog is like having a kid.

Kids can't protect me from all the bad stuff that has happened to me in the past or ease my fears of living alone as a single woman.... The dog can

You are right, only YOU can do that.

Besides the living at home alone fears. Best you can do is be prepared, some self defense classes help. Also CC could help but even with all the dogs, guns, training **** can still happen.

How big is your farm COUGH COUGH out door range Cough

Sorry for being a noob but what is CC? Concealed something?

It's 3 acres. Plenty big enough for a range. And I do intend to purchase a gun and get my permit when finances permit.

Good evening peeps

Man, having withdrawals already from the G

The rental I have is a Mazda 6. Thing is too big, but it's nice not having to shift for a few days That and spending less on gasoline.

And just bought a whole buncha furniture for my bedroom. Way sweet. You know that new car or new house smell? How about new furniture smell? Lol

What's new?

Nice vossens, V

Get all settled into the new place?

Seeing the rottweiler reminds me of mine from when I was kid. Warning, Debbie Downer story coming up!

Shadow was a pure outdoors dog. Unfortunately, I lived in the ghetto, and the drug dealer neighbors didn't like him. They ended up poisoning him (so we suspected).

Totally not cool. What's kinda of strange about this story is that I felt the need to bury him immediately. I was like 10 years old, came home and he was dead as a doornail in the back yard. I buried him before my father even came home. Don't know what I was thinking at the time. Remember being pissed, really sad, and had a sense or urgency to take care of what needed to be done. My dad came home and was like wtf
