I'm sorry to all my fellow Florida g club members .. I have been going thru the hardest time in last 7 months with court court court and more court with my ex and we have a 2 year old and I just recently was slammed with a restraining order and 2 weeks ago faught it and won ... I had court again in 30 days for more stuff ...

But I'll be around more ad hope to see what all cool things you have on your car now

Anyone in Orlando have any hookups with Verizon phones? I can get a galaxy s3 for $130 (instead of $199) with 2 yr contract but I have to drive to Tampa to get that discount (Save $70, spend $?? in gas??). Would love to get that price locally. Anyone?

the S3 is going to be a huge upgrade from your Dx, my bro just did that upgrade. FYI If you have unlimited data you will prob loose it and be stuck with a 2GB plan.

 

last time they told me that I was "grandfathered in"...

I hate my Dx.... its so slow, freezes all the time, force closes everything... but the thing that gets me is that it will take a photo, save it, then an hour later it disappears... like its a gray box... plug it into a computer, try to open file, and it says that the file is empty. anyone know how to recover these photos?

 

hmm never heard of that issue, never had any of those issues when I had my Dx, upload the pics to dropbox as you take them so you dont loose them in the mean time. Just install the dropbox app for this.

Last time when? Verizon recently in like Late june early july changed their contracts. So If you sign a new one and have unlimited it will drop you down to 2GB. Though a few weeks ago people were still upgrading online and kept their unlimited data.

How much data do you use? If you do not come close to 2GB then it should be ok.

 

Hahaha I was getting notified that I was in the top 5% of users for te first three months I was grandfathered in.

 

This was maybe 6 months ago. Hmmm. Don't know how much data I use.

 

V, if you log into your verizon account online, you can see your data usage for the past few months and get an idea if your normal usage will "fit" in the 2gb cap.

Also, if you happen to have two lines, there's a way you can get around it by switching one line to the 2GB plan and upgrading it with the SG3, then swapping the SG3 to your unlimited line

PS, LMK how much you want for your old DX when you upgrade. I have a friend I may set it up for.
