My newest ride


Basically I was going Down taft Vineland When a lady going the opposite way waved the suv to get out in front of her. Suv decides to make a left in front of me realizes its a bad idea and stops in my lane. I tried braking didn't have time leaned as hard as I could to get around the front and then jumped off the bike like this
.
I missed her front end and rolled to safety, bike wasn't so lucky.
Got some xrays and stuff am ok mostly just rashed up pretty bad. Didn't get any decent pain pills so I hurt like hell

 

Sucks man good thing you had on your safety stuff on exception on kneed pads but hope you a speedy recovery

 

Glad to hear you are okay but this is why I got rid of my bike a looong time ago. My dad was nearly killed the same exact way. Then 2 different close friends were not so lucky and lost their lives. You can be the best rider in the world but you cant control what the other idiots do. And when you are on a bike you will lose every time vs a car or truck.

 

Its a risk you take everytime you ride. But most will be in denial thinking it could never happen to them. Same happened to my friend here got ruffed up a bit but was ok.

 

My friend siad to me "I have been riding for 18 years. I know what I am doing. I pay attention and can avoid most situations.". 3 days later he was dead. It is only a matter of time.
