After my wheels were stolen, everyone was sending me links to different wheels on craigslist. You can never prove that a certain set of mint stock oem wheels with 12k miles on the tires were mine or someone else's... I hope that's not the case with your camera, Rickey. Again very sorry to hear. I really hope your insurance takes care of you.

You also never prove if a random stranger rolls up on you and hits you with a bat.

 

Insurance isn't covering personal property, so i'm screwed out of a couple grand there. With cameras it's a little easier seeing as everything has a serial number on it. Including the software. All my pictures retain my copyright in the file properties and my cameras serial number.
