Turns out the salesguy was right...

A while back I posted that a salesguy told me that the coupes had a protective film from factory. Turns out he was somewhat correct. There is a post on the coupe forum and has pics of a clear protectant film in front of the rear tires. Just thought I'd share that...

Yeah you don't want to peel that off. Some people did when they first got their coupes back in '03.

I've kept mine on and the passenger one has 3 or 4 big scratches from junk hitting it. Fortunately it's just scratched plastic and not huge chunks of paint missing.

Most if not all newer cars come with that protective film, at least my Nissan has it too. After a while the film gets dirty around the edge and it looks bad on light color cars.. but it has nothing to do with the clear bra, I think your dealer had something completely different in mind.
