Exclamation stupid things to do with your new G

so the intelligent key feature on my 05' sedan is cool, right? but here's what happens when you aren't paying attention......went to dinner with a bunch of friends and after about 2 hours, someone goes out for a smoke and comes back to say " hey your car is running". seems like i never shut the sucker off, when i got out of the car. pretty slick, huh? so everyone gets in their joke about it and when they are all done, i pose this question to them......

"wouldn't you rather have a G that rocks and has cool stuff like the intellegent key system that you can forget how to use once in a blue moon, or would you rather drive home in that P.O.S. no frills econobox most of you are driving out of here with?"

i think i made the point with them. some looked sad.........

so i figured i'd post the tale here so that some of you might learn from my mistake. at least it didn't burn much of that 2.45/gallon premium gas i put in the tank.....

Or like I used to say, I'd rather stall a G than drive any other car

so does anyone think it could hurt anything by letting it sit and idle that long? except my pride of course.......

They call me Finiti the thread hijacker.. post *****.. whatever! I got issues with staying on topic

But to answer your question, the average police Crown Vic spends a lot more time than that idling on a daily basis while your local 5-0 is hiding under some tree waiting for you to fly by.. not a pretty picture, but you get it.
