no, i am going to go sight seeing, i am looking on the MLS for vacant waterfront land for sale, then call the owner get permisssion to take pics.

I wonder in boynton or lakeworth there is any place to take pics near the water.

What about WPB? or even to a lake?

 

i believe in bb there is an beach front area that is turtle protected vacant land, we could do it there!

So I take it you want the photoshoot and the May meet to be 2 separate events?

First, don't count on me for next weekend as I may or may not be in town.

I wanted to have the photoshoot instead of a May meet and maybe drive somewhere for dinner after that. Boynton Beach would be a long haul for quite a few of us. For example, Mike (Illusive) is always asking me about when we get together because he wants to hang out with us between meets, but I doubt he'd drive all the way from Kendall to Boynton for a casual GTG.

You can go sightseeing and pick out a location, but my idea is to have a normal meet at a place that's a little more central to everyone, with everyone being invited, then those of us who want can go for a bite. We can still have your desired colors on the T-shirt, maybe if any of the non-participants like it, they might decide to order it. Your idea is pretty cool, I'm just trying to figure out if it's going to work out with mine. What does everyone think?

 

so if you found a spot in fort lauderdale give me an adress i will check it out. i am willing to meet half way here. we have a guest from orlando that is a non fgc member who just bought the car coming down, she is looking foward to meet some members and join.

 

if you want to set an official FGC may meet go for it, please try waterfront! near the beach, ohh !!! how about the first FGC Fortlauderdale beach/ picnic, i beleive there are bbq's on the beach and oceanfront, and i bet if i play my cards right we can get some girls in bathing suits to take pics next to our cars, free models, what do u say finiti???

 

There are a few lots with metered parking around Las Olas and A1A and the Beachplace... Other than that, I have no clue where we'll be able to park all these cars. We can't park them anywhere close to the water for the pics because A1A is always jammed, for all I know. I'll go and check out the marina in Hollywood and I'll post pics.. If anything, we could take the pics there and then cruise up.

You guys can get all the girls you want to pose with your cars... they ain't getting anywhere near mine, that's my job

I have an 05' Sedan in Lakeshore Slate if you would like me to be part of the photoshoot. I think it would be kinda cool to have one pic with a shot of an 05' sedan and 05' coupe with the brand new Lakeshore Slate color. I also have 5% tints so keep that in mind for the nice color contrast I live near the Aventura Mall so let me know if you would like my help.

there is a place where you pay $5 for parking, there's basketball courts, volleyball nets, etc. There are also grills if i'm not mistaken, its like 5min south of las olas. My friends from work and i always get together there and there is plenty of parking.

 

Is it any good for taking pics though? Cause I was driving on A1A last night and there's plenty of parking that allows you to kind of have the water in the background, not sure how that would come out.. And what about that parking garage on Johnson (I think) and A1A in Hollywood, if it's possible to get to the roof it might be good for taking pictures. Heck if I can think of anything else at 6:15am
