New Tires

I ordered my new tires. I decided to go with the Pilot Sports again. They performed better than I expected. The only complaint I had is that they cupped after only 6K miles. It can get pretty annoying. If anyone is looking to get new tires Mike or Manny at Discount Tire on south Alafaya are pretty good guys to deal with. It wound up costing me $956+tax, not a bad deal. That includes mounting, balancing, flat repair, even tire rotation. Too bad we can't rotate our tires. I'll let you know how it turns out when they come in. It should be about a week or so.

Yeah I put it off as long as I could. Maybe I should just order the Maya's while I'm at it.

Thanks Neff. If I get another 200 hundred people to donate $20 I might have enough. Wes will have a house payment to worry about soon. He can't worry about rims.

Sean why Maya rims?? There alot of rims out there. Choose wisely. Just make sure u don't get heavy rims like someone did they might zap some whp from yea and blame the rims for the loss. Just get light weight rims that suit what u like. I am still deciding which rims I wanted to get Volk but there not making the color I wanted any more ;-( due to paint imperfection I was told from mackinindustries representitive. I am leaning towards the Advan Conosseieur c51 sp?

The maya's are only a joke. Wes has been dreaming about them for awhile.

Why don't you get the Volk's and have them painted? I'm pretty sure Matt (zul8r) has his rims painted on his Z.

Todd will donate $20, I'd donate a GRAND to see that I was joking that I'm gonna get the Rezax II and he told me "NOO you can't get those, they look too much like the Mayas". Heck I might actually get them (running away before I get shot)..

Mark, I don't know about the Mayas but the Rezax II are forged magnesium wheels and the 18" are only 19lbs, I imagine the 19" will still be lighter than the stock 18". Have you ever looked at the HP Evos? They're really nice, a lot of Maxima folks seem to like them.
