What about Race Rock off of I-4 in Orlando? I have heard of having car shows there. I believe it is a themed restaurant, sort of like Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood, no? After the meet, all the 21+ people can head to Downtown Disney or Citywalk. All the youngins like me could just drive home or something...

I really think we should get this to be our biggest meet yet. Maybe buy some trophies and have a car show for best performance/best interior. We could make flyers and post them on other forums. This could be HUGE!

I helped to arrange a Celica meet at Race Rock a few years ago. We co-ordinated with the managers of the restaurant and they reserved, what I believe to be, the north parking lot for us. We also parked a few of the nicest cars right out in front of the restaurant. It was a good time and the Race Rock crew did a very good job of accomodating us all. Plus people visiting the restaurant had a fun time looking at all the cars too.

In the attached image: green was the spotlight parking, yellow marks the sectioned off parking they reserved for us (that entire side of the restaurant).

What about a road rally/poker run ending in a meet? Race rock is a nice idea.

IMO if we do this in orlando, it should be close to the Orlando Speedway. That way after the meet, we can all do some legal racing

I certainly hope that my car is out of the shop in time. It's only been a week but damn does it seem like forever.

Oh how I miss you.

Definitely should be in orlando. We already had one in Tampa/Clearwater. A lot of NFL showed up for the first meet, so we should consider that too - but I'd prefer a more central location like orlando. Race rock seems cool if we can reserve the lot. I'd like to hang out at citywalk afterwards. Haven't been there in awhile.

What would you all think of meeting at a place like DELEON SPRINGS? That place has VERY NICE pavillions, plenty of shade, a spring that you can swim in, playgounds for the kids, etc... They have a restaurant where you can make your own pancakes (really cool) and add in your own fruit for $4 per person.

We could meet early for breakfast, have a mini meet during the early afternoon and the take a 30-45 minute drive south to Orlando to the Race Rock???

Just a thought...

I've had problems with uneven tire wear and roar for a long time. The AC also started pumping humid air. They fixed the AC, but the tire issue is taking them a while.

sounds good, if alot of people to come to the breakfast, it would make for one nice caravan down to race rock.

A cruise is involved? Awesome...the cruise is all I care about. How about everyone just meets at Clearwater and we all drive to Daytona Beach and then everyone can go home? As long as there is a cruise....

If it is not too lame, what about ending up at a drive-in theater? I bet 90% of the people here have never experienced a drive-in, including myself. They are actually still around. 19 in the State of Florida.
