Question for the Zaino-philes

I just did the whole process from the Dawn to the Z8! I've got to say that my G had never looked better. I even zainoed the PIAA's and Brembos and they look awesome.

The question for those of you who have used Z8... Does the Z8 appear to be (or feel) thicker than the Z6? Besides the orange smell the fluid is almost identical (minus the pink tint to the cloth when you're done). I don't know if I'm imagining things but the Z8 seemed to just make the cotton cloth feel like it didn't slide across the bumper quite the same. Maybe the fluid is thicker or stickier??? Anyone notice this?

Quote of the day: "Sniffing fingers that smell like zaino is heaven."

It's not just you Todd. The first time I used Z8, it felt like it didn't go on as smoothly as Z6. Z6 is instantly absorbed by the towel and Z8 takes a tad more affort. The same way a ZFX bottle with Z5 is easier to clean than one with Z2. I never really thought about it until you mentioned it though.

I've got to say that my G had never looked better.
I call BS J/k, but how much better does it get? You had the shiniest car at the all-Florida meet. I couldn't imagine it looking any better than that How many hours did it take you and do you Dawn wash/claybar it twice a year?

I couldn't tell the difference after using the Z8, but then again my color is diamond graphite. I remember doing the whole Zaino process with Dabomb and after wiping everything down, misting with Z6, it was pretty damn shiny. Then I put on the Z8 spray and it was still pretty damn shiny. I don't think it gets any better than that.

I'd really like to see what Z-PC can do though...

Z8 has worked better for me on mine, but yes it does seem a little thicker. Of course, that might have something (although minimal) to do with the towel you are using too (I am using the Viper microfiber from properautocare.com).
