Grounding Kit and ECU reset

Just installed a grounding kit this evening, and did an ECU reset. The negative battery cable removal, followed by hitting the brakes 4-5 times, as recommended by Neffster. The reset method they used on Sean's car. Then I took it out and drove the sh** out of it. Ran it to triple digits several times and I can say the car felt great! I think it was a good choice for an inexpensive mod.

Next up is a new set of tires. Then I relax for a while, and plan the next road trip with the G.

Wow, a new set of tires on a 2005 G? Are you replacing them because you want different tires or because they are worn out?

actually, i took them off my '03 G when i traded it in back in january. they were better than what was on the car, from the factory(goodyear eagle rsa's) and had low miles. i had just put them on the '03, last july. but now i am seeing that they really should be replaced. about 12k-14k miles on them and i am ready for something different.

i am tossing around the firestone firehawk wide ovals. apparently they are getting real good reviews from alot of folks who have them.
