Since we have a tie and those of us who voted for Oleta State/ Dade county live in Broward/ Boca anyway, the meet is going to be at S.B. Smith Park in Pemboke Pines on Sept 17. Now I just need to drive over there and look at the parking lots before the official thread is posted. Thanks for your time guys.

I'll be by there today so I'll take some pics of parking areas and see if I can talk to someone about good / recommended locations within the park.

Great, we just need a parking lot number so that everyone knows where exactly to show up. I can be there early on the 17th so I can reserve that spot for us. I was going to go there today since I'm dropping off my car at a dealer closeby and it's on my way, but just remembered it's labor day so dealers are closed. The earliest I can go is tomorrow afternoon, so let me know if you go there today, thank you tons

There are a couple of choices but overall I think the area between shelters 15 and 16 is the best spot. There is a large parking lot there and it is the only area in the park where there are no shelters nearby. The parking lots near the shelters were packed with guests from events being held at the shelters. There are a couple of grills and lots of patio tables nearby. I will scan a map of the park tomorrow at the office and forward it to you.
