350Z PE radiator installed in my G

I just had a Power Enterprises radiator installed after I discovered that my stock radiator had a hole in it. I was going install an after market radiator anyway, but I was waiting for one to hit the market that was specifically for the G. Unfortunatley I needed one now so I had the 350z PE modified to work on the G. The only fabrication that needed to be done was to extend the top mounting brackets. Unlike the Koyo, the fan blades and the shroud did not need to be cut in order to fit. IMO changing to an after market radiator with FI kits is a must, especially in Miaimi. Thanks to www.forgedinternals.com for a great price and fast shipping.

How's the car, Gman? Glad to see you got it back and running well. Now you have no excuse to not go to a SFL meet now

The car is running great. I get my custom 3" exhaust installed tomorrow. After that I shouldn't have any more problems.....hopefully. I am looking forward to the next meet.

It's 4:40 am and I can't sleep. Only 2 hours and 20 minutes till I take the car to the exhaust shop.

I just recently bought a digital camcorder so a video is soon to come. I just need to figure out how to download the video.

Is the exhaust done? For now I am having wastegate dump tubes custom made locally. I don't want to ditch my Borla TD. I think dump tubes will accomplish the same thing as what you are doing but might be a bit too loud at high rpm's. I guess I'll find out. I want to see some pics of your exhaust!

The car is currently at Miami muffler. I was going to get it done on Thurs, but because of my radiator issue I could not get it there sooner. Today was the first day they were open since I got my car back on Saturday. I will post pics later tonight.

I made a new thread in the exhaust forum, but WTF I'll post the pics here too.

Underneath view from the front

Underneath view from the rear

View of exhaust tips from the rear. There is a big space between the tips and the car because the tips were positioned with my Top Secret Rear bumper on the car. I am getting the body kit installed soon.

Looks nice!!! I'm going to have to do the same. It'll cost me $450+ to get the dumptubes and downpipes redone so it's custom 3" for me as well. We're actually going to do 3.5" in the test pipes. You went to a good exhaust shop and it shows! Can't wait to hear how you like it.

I love it. The car goes into boost so much faster and it pulls like hell. The only thing I don't like is that I lost the quietness I had with the Evo II. This new exhaust is loudest up to 2500 RPMS after that it shuts up a little unless you have it pegged, then it screams like a wild boar. I asked the muffler shop for 3.5" test pipes, but he said he could not make them. I paid $1275 in total for parts and labor including the HKS TI mufflers.
