Low tire pressure warning came on today....

And scared the bejesus outta me. Thats one loud 10 second warning. To top it off...the lighted up warning symbol looked like a bucket with an exclamation mark...though I know its supposed to be a bulged tire. How the hek was I supposed to intepret low tire pressure from that symbol? Ohh well. For those 10 seconds...flip flop questioned the Vortech purchase

All is good now....

If I would have known that it was even supposed to resemble a tire...I would have been one step ahead.

Your's beeped for 10 seconds? When mine when off on my trip to Dallas, only the light indicator went off. It made no sounds. When I checked, the pressure was on the high side. I guess that's what triggered the light, but it still made no sound. I wonder if it differentiates between a low and high threshold.

Nope...10 LOOOOOONG seconds brother. Page 2-12 of the 2005 manual states:

"If the vehicle is being driven with low tire pressure (...28psi: Coupe 18 and 19 inch wheel model), the light will illuminate and the chime will sound for about 10 seconds."

Let me tell you...when your driving and that thing goes off for 10 seconds and yo ucan't interpret the f'in symbol...you kinda freak out.

Or wait until it's wet, you have VDC on and you gun it in 3rd gear getting onto the hwy. SLIP lights up, power is shut down and your heart stops. Did I just blow the engine?

I had just got finished telling myself it was wet out and VDC was on and then I floored it...

Ohh...the VDC thing gets me everytime. I floor it and in the corner of my eye I see a light come up (slip) and feel the car not wanting to go anywhere. Theres about 2 seconds where I'm like "no f'in way". Then I realize whats happening. FI messes with your head sometimes....

While other guys pulleys burn the bleep out of your arm and leave blisters that transform into red scars.

BTW, you owe me an O'doul's or two, right?

It turned into a scar? Damn....sorry to hear. As for the O'douls...money is kinda tight right now and probably can't afford it (theres a reason I have you and Dan do all the work on my car)
