Exclamation swap headlights for 06 projectors housing

Hey everyone how did you all fair with Hurricane Wilma? I havent posted in awhile, but I have some info you might find helpful. I serviced my car at sawgrass infiniti formally lighthouse point. I asked the service manager if it was possible to swap my headlights for the 06 projectors, he said yes, but you have to install a whole new frontbumper, becasue it has to do with the mounting screws. He also mentioned I have to get new bulbs. Well to make a long story short the grand total for the new housings, bulbs, bumper plus labor and tax would run me $3000 plus. I think thats a little to steep, the headlight housings themselves run $1200 a piece ouch... Has anyone gotten any other pricing quotes from other dealers, aftermarket etc.... If anyone else can add more info go ahead...

You should do a search on 06 headlight/projector swap, the thread is in the coupe section I think. Someone just did the swap and it will tell you all about how much it cost, where to order the headlights from, etc. You don't need a new bumper, don't listen to those dimwits.

I've heard it's completely plug and play too, no modding anything. 1200 buck's though? Have you seen some of the projector mod's before. I think they look even better than the 06 lights, and you get to keep the clearance strip too. That is if you like the clearance strip. Oh and they are also a little cheaper.

I emailed them(Sawgrass Infiniti) about the headlights and they told me that they go for 775.92 each. But then they said as a dealer they can only supply us parts for the correct year of our car. Heh never heard of that one before...

Sounds like it's time to call another dealer. How about Lokey Infiniti? John will hook you up for sure. Plus FGC Members get a 10% discount. That alone would be worth the price of admission.
