Well....I am back to stock as I took the bumper and side skirts back off so that they can be repainted. While I was down there, I checked out my oil filter and oil lines and saw some oil around the oil filter itself and around the piece and bolt to the left of it. It didnt seem to be dripping on the ground nor on the underneath of the car. But lemme know what you all think as I have never changed my own oil so I am not sure if this is normal or not. As always..excuse my ignorance.
TIA

TIA

The oil on the pan is from where they drained your oil the last time. Right when you remove the plug, if you're not fast, the oil gets on the oil pan.
The oily filter doesn't look good. I wonder if they REUSED the old filter? Who did your last oil change?

It is very common to have some residual oil left in those two areas after an oil service. For the most part, the technician usually wipes that off but from time to time it may be missed.
I would recommend checking the oil filter to be sure it is tight and that would be about it. If they "double-gasketed" your oil filter, it would be leaking fairly heavily (this happens when the old filter is removed and the o-ring seal sticks to the sealing surface, is not noticed, and the new filter and o-ring are installed on top of it creating a leak).

my guess is they didn't use a new crush washer on the oil filter.. the oil around the drain plug is typical of a careless clean-up after draining.
if you were leaking oil, you would know; the smallest leak would be exacerbated immediately under pressure.

I figured it was just a rush job by Nissan. My oil level was good and I felt no dripped oil below the pan or filter. Just had to be sure and post it up. Thanks guys for the responses.
