Well...the problem you have is, us old farts are planning on leaving around 9:30 - 10:00 am, and I think you guys are shooting for much earlier than that.

If you want to go the GA 400 - 19/129 route, as long as you get North of Alpharetta by 7:30, you will not be in bumper to bumper traffic and have clear sailing.

But between 7:30 - 9:30, it will suck on Fri morning rush hr.

If you want to pull over and sleep for a while, we'll be glad to meet up with you.

I'll be happy to map out the best route for you. The ride up will be worth it as there are some of the best roads ever and a nice straight shot, approx 3 hrs from 1-285 & GA 400.

Well it's not going to be 5:00am like you guys are talking about. If it was just me then fine, but not with a 4 year old and a pregnant wife. We'll just meet you there.

Hey Dan, when are we leaving again?

 

it seems Chuck, Gilley, and the ATL guys are gonna meet up around 9:30a.
do we want to leave a bit later to meet them or just drive on through??

And remember, I dont think we can check in until 3 or 4pm

 

We should each make sure we have a copy of the cell phone list in the Member's Section with us so we can stay in contact.

Even leaving ATL around 9:30, we will be at fontana before 3:00.

 

Do I smell a Gumball Rally from Orlando to North Carolina.
