well it depends
i started about 1130 am time
till about 1215 i drove around tryin to find paint that would match
1245 i had the first layer of primer on
then started taking the buttons off the black controller.
got some lunch, screwed around on the computer.
245 comes primers i dry first layer of paint.
call chuck and findout hes out at the dealership.
315 but second layer of paint on, pick up my room a little but some clothes in the washer.
4 or so chuck arrives after passing my place and having to bust a u turn
we hangout for a bit then head to chillis
about 6 we leave chillis and i head to the mall in downtown to pick up my paycheck
730 i arrive back home, paint somemore and wait for my roommate to leave so i can park in the middle of the garage and take the car apart
bout 8 roommate leaves and i start to work on taking everything apart. i start cruizing right along here, now.
830 i had the old radio out and taken apart.
9 i had the brown buttons off and in the new ac controller, air vents were mounted, new radio mounted.
945 i had the speaker wires soldered together.
10 i was putting it back in and testing. found out i had a bad ground so i had to cut the ground wire and ground it directly to the chassie. then i found out that i only had sound when it was in radio cause the power antenna was connected to the factory remote turn on so i had to cut that and wire it to the remote amp wire.
1030 i was tryin to mount the 6 disc. that took a little while cause its a really tight fit. i had to break off these pins on the back of the glove box so it could slide open and close.
1115 everything was gettin put back together.
midnight i was running the rca cables back to the trunk to hook up to my sub amp. i also ran the fron t and rear cables as well for future use.
110 i was done and car was all put back together.

there was a lot of time in there that i took off and was screwing around in my room or on the computer.

install was not really hard at all. i could have done it in a lot less time if i didnt have to paint and wait for it to dry and then paint somemore. also would have been faster if i didnt take breaks and just done it straight threw.

id give the install about a 2 out of 10 but i know what im doing. ive done a lot of different stereo installs in different cars and have installed a lot of different things on this car.

if you havent ever done anything like this before or if you havent ever taken the dash apart before then this install might be a little more difficult for you, but if you live in florida maybe i can help you when you go to do it.

id say if i had no experiance with this car or stereos id give it about a 6.

i still have to install the sirus tunner that i have as well.
