My name is David and I just wanted you guys to be in the loop on things around Florida. (I am sure Rich is going to hunt me down for throwing this info on the forums, but I feel like it has to be done.) Being in Florida you guys have a unique opportunity to purchase the coveted Nissan Skyline. There is a company operating out of Florida that can get you a road legal Skyline in your driveway. I know the import/mod scene is strong in Florida and thought this information could be useful to you guys or to friends who are interested. There are more cars available than you think. In the interest of keeping the company's information flying under the radar (as it has done for quite some time) I won't post their contact information on here. I bought a 1995 R33 GTR V-Spec about 8 or 9 weeks ago and will take delivery here in Dallas in 2 weeks or so. Enjoy:

That's awesome, are you having to do that whole race car registration deal with the skyline? so you only get to drive it x amt of miles a year.

 

Nope. I can drive it all I want. The only catch is with my insurance company that will insure these cars. I get 6,000 miles a year to drive it (which you probably shouldn't put that many miles on a Skyline in a year anyway) and have to show proof that it is a second car (i.e. proof of additional insurance provider on a daily driven vehicle)

 

Sorry to invade you guy's forum, but I think everyone who is interested in these cars should have the opportunity to get one.

He has helped me out a lot being my eyes and ears down there and a lot of credit has to go to him. I mean he went and took some of those pics for me. I really appreciate his help and I hope he'll understand cuz I have kept it bottled up as long as I could before I went and posted up about it. But I haven't gotten a chance to meet him in person but from the times I have interacted with him so far he is nothing but a good guy and I think he is an asset to you guys down there in Florida.
