2.1 60' isn't too bad...is it? The best I have seen a G do is 2.0 60', that's not including drag radials or slicks of course.

I've seen a couple 1.8's and 1.9's on other boards with non-FI cars in the 13.7 range...Very good drivers it appears...

I found it a little bit hard to believe at first, but the guys posting that literally were running borderline slicks for tires and these were runs in the Northeast and Northwest in chilly climates. It's not out of the realm of possiblility by any means.

Heck, a regular guy on FA has a 6spd with only a z-tube and popcharger and ran a 14.0xx.

I'll tell you what perplexes me: my Acura ran 14.2xx regularly. Down low, this car has gobs more torque, and it does make more power (about 6hp before the header install), but the Acura would run 115mph in 3rd--72mph or so in second, whereas this car has so much more in the way of shifting. It feels strong, but man, my Acura was pretty quick comaratively speaking.

I'll be curious to see what I run in the next few weeks. I have another dyno appoinment Friday morning (since the Strups are now on!)...

Horrible!!!
My first run, I spun all through 1st gear.
2nd run, I missed 2nd (I never "miss" 2nd, but it nevers goes into 2nd because of the little notch?)
3rd run, 2.1 60'...pretty good launch, but since I had the mindset that I suck at driving, I thought I missed 2nd again...but I didn't. So I basically had it in 2nd, took it out, and put it back in. 14.8
4th run, 14.57 @ 98.41...crappy
5th run, my new best by .03, 14.21 @ 98.96 with 2.1 60'
last run, i could have done better on the launch (2.2 60') and ran 14.22 @ 99.33 (power shifted).

So it looks like Wes was right...the exhaust an plenum didn't do much at all. I still can't drive.

I hope to dyno soon to see if I gained or last anything...we should set up a dyno day!

Was the track busy/packed? Any other interesting/exceptionally fast cars there?

A dyno day is in the works but we're planning to do it at coastal dyno (west florida). Still in planning stages though...
