Shocking G...does it happen to you?

Last night was the last straw.. Im getting out of my G and zap i get shocked when trying to close my door. The funny thing is I didnt even touch my car the electric shock jumped about 1/2 inch it was much more noticable bc it was at night time and the electric shock was purple. It gave me a pretty good jolt and it freakin hurt. This has happened to me almost everytime I get out of my G. Does it happen to anyone else just wanted to know.

The Mythbusters did a thing on that.
Apparently you shouldn't wear silk panties with fake fur trim and rub them with a plastic pipe.
It generates static electricity that might blow you up when you're filling the gas tank.

Edit: Sorry for stumbling into your club forum uninvited. I saw the thread on the new posts page and lost my head.

I hate when I get shocked. It happened to me yesterday, I didn't have the key fob with me and had to unlock the Civic's doors using the key. The shock went right through the key.

I get shock everytime. And it makes a loud nice too. So i just try to touch my window to close the door or if not, i just wait for a few seconds..and just touch the door handle.
