For all the Tampa guys and any other members who are staying overnight in Clearwater/Tampa area Saturday night after the meet...this is for you.

Bradenton Motorsports Park is a great 1/4mile track located about 45 minutes from Lokey. Would anyone be interested in going on Sunday morning? They have Runday Sunday, which is a test and tune, from 9am-5pm. Prices are $10 to watch and another $10 to run. The Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before Runday Sunday, the track is closed for "facility improvements" and according to Tamparacing.com, these improvements will be huge. So it sounds like the track will be in top notch shape.

it is a very nice track a little bit of a drive from tampa. I hope I get to come out and see what improvements they made. Always lots of eye candy.

 

Was there last week. Very nice track, but only got 2 runs in as it was packed. It was $15 per person regardless of who ran or not, but i think that's only because it was a special event that night.

Hahaha if it is open and I do go, I'm gonna have my friend come down and run against me in her convertable '01 4at trans am. We have been talking sh*t about eachother's cars for the longest time... jokingly of course... but its time this was settled. Who thinks I can take her?

It's been quite a while since I've been there, but BMP is one of the nicest drag strips in Florida. I'm up for a trip down, if they're open.

Yes.... her... i'm pretty sure it's a ws6, it's deffinitely a v8 ls1, and it's deffinitely quick. If it was a 6mt I think she'd smoke me. But it's an automatic and a converatble (heavier than the coupe) so I think I have a chance. I mean really, afterall she is a girl... (although she could probably kick my a**)

In any case... is there any word on if the strip is gonna be open on sunday??
