Does anyone know of a shop in Orlando that aligns lowered cars? Goodyear and Allied Tire will not because it is too low. They mentioned a place out Nixon Black? off of OBT or a Goodyear out in Celebration...please tell me there are places closer than that!

The tires are on. Compared to the weared T1-S tires, these tires are "Lexus" style....they are so much quieter, it's ridiculous.

The first 2 pictures are the 245s. The last 2 pictures are of the 275s.

Nix and Black are great at alignments. I have taken my lifted 4x4 trucks to them for years!! It might be worth the drive. I also know that Todd (neffster) recommended a place that aligned his G. R&B Motoring (Razing Zone) sends people to the same place. Try to hit him up.

Ryan, there is plenty of tread left on one side of each tire. you should have just mounted them on the other side of the car for even wear.

yeh that would have worked if he was always driving straight.
but if he tried to take a turn at any type of speed he would have found himself sliding.

Either go to:

Nix and Black
421 N Orange Blossom Trl
Orlando, FL 32805-1705 View Map
(407) 841-4681

Irish Mike's World Class Auto
1624 N Forsyth Rd, Orlando, FL
(407) 679-6118

The place that Racing Zone reccomends is:
Tires Way of America
6200 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL
(321) 235-5588

If you go there, make sure they are aligning your car to the G35 coupe specs and not the Sedan's.

i work in the business as well. always a good idea to get an alignment. also, our standard rate is 10/tire for balance. we dont charge for mounting. 60 bucks is fair for an alignment actually, we charge 79, but then were in hollywood, things are more expensive. however, people dont realize for tire-rack, you need to pay shipping (which is a pain in the as$) then pay taxes, THEN take your tires in your Gcoupe to a store who will charge you additional for install b/c you didnt buy the tires from them. in the end, it comes out to the same price and you build a relationship withb the people working at the store. this can help in the future for service etc as well

Those look just as bad as mine. What's weird is... my tires wore out on the outside, not the inside. Does that make any sense? I thought it would have worn the insides more since I lowered the car.

Ryan,

Did you get the same size 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 again?

I looked on the GoodYear site and they don't show a lot of sizes for the Eagle F1 GS D3. They don't show a 245/35/19.

http://www.goodyeartires.com/goodyea...ter=&sidewall=

I'm thinking about going 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 and they don't show a 255/35/19, although they show the 285/35/19 twice in the chart.

Maybe that chart is just screwed up. If you bought a 245/35/19, the chart is screwed up.

That price seems normal for tires that big. I just paid 900 (include mount/balance) for some toyo proxes, but mine were OEM size.

Well, I had my car aligned at Tires Way of America today. They said it would be $80...after taxes, it was $93.xx. It was nice to pull up, fill out paper work, and then have them get right to work on my car. It only took about 45 minutes, but they didn't do much. They said they got the toe in back to spec. I have no clue what spec it should be, so I'll just post numbers. O yeah, and they said the front/rear camber cannot be touched. It's funny how Wes had Lokey adjust his front camber back to specs...even though he has the SAME springs I have!

Before:
LF: RF: LR: RR:
Camber- -1.7 -1.8 -2.7 -2.5
Caster- 8.0 8.2
Toe- -.17 -.17 .02 .09

After:
LF: RF: LR: RR:
Camber- -1.7 -1.9 -2.8 -2.6
Caster- 8.0 8.2
Toe- .04 .04 .10 .11

If they didn't touch your camber, how come it changed .1 (worse)

And if the rear toe changes from .02/.09 to .10/.11, doesn't that mean it's more off?
