Quote: For the shipping price, Iwas going by what it cost me to ship my OEM 18's to San Francisco last week, which was about $110, but 20's are bigger.
Really, what shipping company did you use and did you do your own packaging? I got raped on shipping but this was with the boxes, insurance and the whole nine via UPS ground. But like I said the actual shipping cost can be included in the negotiated price, whatever it might be. I've sold a zillion things on various forums and I've learned that people will lowball the heck out of you so you'll never get your asking price (unless it's too good to be true to begin with, but I'm not sure about the Mayas?)

Just go with the Volks, you won't have to worry about them getting damaged during transit plus the Volk rivet pattern looks much better on an otherwise identical wheel

I used FedEx ground and I did pack them myself, which does make a big difference in cost.

I'm going to try to meet the guy with the Volks this week.

I appreciate your input.

BTW, the offsets for the Volks are +26 in the front (9.5) and +32 in the rear (10.5). They will supposedly clear Brembos. Does that sound right?

I think you got the offsets backwards. I've seen people running GT-C's with Brembos but it's all width/offset dependent. Try to test fit them when you meet up with the guy and if they don't fit, just get some spacers no biggie.

sean i would get the volks even though you would be copying me because they are goin to be lighter then teh maya and also the are a stronger wheel then the mayas. im checking on the offsets for you. the price that the guy wants with tires is a whole lot beter then if you were to buy new and with teh money you are saving you can get that little sratched fixed. it would probably cost about 50 to get it taken out.

not a very agressive offset in the rear, it may tuck a bit. unless like teddie said and you got them backwards

the fronts have to be a +20 or bigger in the front so the +26 is fine he said fo rthe rear it doesnt matter so the +32 wil be fine but they arent very aggressive offsets.

sean what i would do is take your red coupe with you and see if teh guy will let you test fit a front and a rear on there so you can see what they look like.
