I think you want to read Trey's post more closely.

After reading the whole thread, I have a question for Shermie:

Just like there are some people that can squeeze a 13.9 out of their G. Go to the above link. Im not arguing 1/4 times. They are relative you can get different numbers based on so many different variables even if you have the same car and the same driver. Could be shifting, tire temp., Temp., not to mention reaction time, or the other 1000 possibilities that could change the 1/4 times.
How does one's R/T affect their E/T?

well not knowing what E/T is.

Shifting. Some people can shift much faster than others. Michael Schumacher can shift with in .2 seconds that is one of the fastest in the world. Does that answer your question.

Hey SPARKY! The clock doesn't start running until you cross the beam! So RT has no effect on the ET! Another gem from the master tech here!

When i said reaction time I meant that in terms of Shifting. If someone is granny shifting then they will be slower. Try agian HOMO

If you don't even know what R/T and E/T are, why are even TRYING to comment?

Reaction time has NOTHING to do with shifting during the run.

It must hard playing with 51 cards

E/T R/T I could give two poops. But if you shift like a granny your going to lose in the 1/4 it is as simple as that. What is so hard understand and why do you feel the need to contradict me on everything I say. You must feel like Im better than you.

Well that's unfortunate that you don't care about those two things. Especially when that's exactly what the question is regarding.

I contradict what you say because most of what you say is incorrect. Not really hard to contradict incorrect information.

Just a clarification. Michael Schumacher technically doesn't shift anything. He hits a paddle. That's it. That little action moves sequentially from one gear to another. There's no path for a shifter to travel, no specific distance. It's a sequential paddle shifter tranny.

Also, just found out this past weekend, that Ferarri's current tranny shifts in 15 milliseconds.
