$10K to spend

Ok, If I have 10k to spend should I slap a Single Turbo and run conservative setup or just get a 240sx and slap a RB25? I'm debating on just having a project car that I can run boost and just be happy and occasionally go to a track or use for Drifting. Slapping an FI on the G gives me Power and Look all in the same car, getting another car for strictly for Power is cheaper and it is easier to swallow when things go wrong. what do you think?

get the project car. will be fun to tinker and learn and not worry about blowing it up. eventually you could apply that knowledge to the G also.

I'm not really a hands on. I can do minor stuff but I'll be paying someone to do all the swap and FI upgrade.

The only problem of having a second car for just speed is that there are times that you'll be right next to a beautiful car and you just wish you were driving your G and not an Old 240sx

i did the same your plannig to do..only my car was already fixed up. I bought an rx7 turbo 2 and its been a blast.. im kinda over it know so i might end up selling it to my friend and fixing my G up again. I had to get the FI hype out of my system wich is why i bought the car....The thing is a beast ..ive taken an m3 and a jaguar v8 supercharged fun indeed.

Get a project car. You will actually be increasing the value of it by modding it.

While you will only be decreasing the value of your G by FI'ing it.

Save up a little bit more and send your G to VRT for a built motor with JWT TT... kill anything on the street and almost anything at the track depending on your skills. =)

I might just do this instead of having another car to maintain My only problem of having a second car is that it will have all the speed but it will be butt ugly to drive around. It is like driving a 600whp Civic, in the end it is still a Civic

get a GReddy TT and run a conservative tune, that way you can always upgrade later
